Introducing Ethereum Limited Total Coin (ELTCOIN): A Community Based ERC20 Token

After reading that long old title above you’re probably wondering what the Ethereum Limited Total Coin is and what it’s about. Well, fear not, I’m here to give you a bit of info before their flash pre-sale starts.

If you’re a regular reader of these ever so lovely crypto chronicles then you probably saw the recent debacle involving the new crypto currency eBTC – an Ethereum based version of the original bitcoin, compatible with all ERC20 Ethereum wallets and distributed entirely for free.

Free crypto? As you can imagine it started one hell of a rollercoaster which has seen popular trading website EtherDelta list three variants of the Litecoin equivalent of eBTC (eLTC, eLTC2, and eLTC3), along with numerous variants of the rest of the top ten crypto currencies (eXMR, eXRP, eDASH and so on).

So you’re probably wondering how this all relates to the new ELTCOIN, well, basically put, it was all the fanfare and commotion surrounding the eBTC airdrop which lead to the birth of the Ethereum Lite Total Coin.

Originally marketed as eLTC, the devs quickly saw a need to rebrand and re-market due to the influx of coins with the same name and ticker. This lead to the birth of a fairly distributed ERC20 token which is focused around the community behind it.

Since their rebrand and refocusing of strategy ELTCOIN has emerged as a token with a solid community whom are willing to back it all the way to the stock exchange. While the white-paper for the coin doesn’t list much information at all, their Telegram channel gained well over 2000 followers within a couple days and their airdrop saw them distribute free coins to 8000 people.

As the project is still extremely young I’d expect more information, such as a more in depth white-paper and roadmap, to be released in the run up to listing on major exchanges, if it makes it to them.
